2006 Excellence in Masonry Awards
From Tom Papas, Executive Director, MIW: Recognizing "excellence" in masonry design is no easy task; we in the industry believe that all structures designed in masonry are excellent. There were, however, many of the projects submitted into the Masonry Institute of Washington's "2005 Excellence in Masonry Design" competition which received exceptionally high marks for their excellence in overall design, their unique design, and their masonry craftsmanship.
Almost forty projects were entered, and the top awards at the November event were presented to the entries below.
